Description

The File Update dialog is shown whenever a manual or automatic update is requested. It gives a detailed list of files that have been modified and their location in the GSC install. While an update is occurring it also shows the download status of the file being updated.

Accessing

There are two ways to get to access the File Update dialog

• Will be opened automatically when there are updates to GSC and you have given approval to start updating
• From the Help menu on your Friends List using the Verify all Files menu item.

Using the Dialog

1. Shows a table of files included in the GSC update.

2. Will check all files on the local computer against those in the GSC update to ensure they are the most recent version.

3. Will download files that are the incorrect version.

4. Closes the dialog.
